Get ready to learn English with movies the smart way. Flurret is here to make vocabulary learning simple and effective. Ready to find out how it works? Don’t worry, it’s super simple to understand and intuitive to use.

How Flurret works in 6 simple steps

1. Take our word calibration quiz

Find out your current English level with our word calibration quiz. Our smart algorithm will quickly figure out your level. With this info, we can tailor content recommendations just for you. No more wasting time on content that's too easy or too hard.

2. Choose your content

We're constantly adding new content to ensure you find something you enjoy. Each film, TV show, or YouTube video displays the percentage of words you already know. This helps you choose content that's perfectly challenging for your current level.

3. Learn new words

We split the content into approximately 50 word chunks to suit your level of English ability. Before watching each chunk, you'll look at all the unknown words. Simply indicate if you know, might forget, or don't know each word. This helps us identify the vocabulary you need to learn.

4. Review with spaced repetition

Now that we've identified your new words, we'll help you remember them. We'll show you each word and its meaning multiple times, with breaks in between. This method helps move words into your long-term memory, so you’ll recognize them while watching.

5. Activate Immersive Mode

Watch the content with Immersive Mode. You'll have a list of the new words you’ve reviewed with timestamps showing when they appear. Listen out for when they’re used, as hearing the words in context helps them stick in your long-term memory.
